Brightkidz becomes the Exclusive Distributor of Twickto in Cyprus

We are excited to announce that Brightkidz is the exclusive distributor of the new innovative brand Twicto from the Netherlands!
The Twickto story actually began in the year 1995. Gert-Jan was on a mission to find construction toys for his two young sons. He wanted to give them something with symmetry, that could be added to on all sides. He could not find anything like this in the stores so he decided to design it himself.
Gert-Jan sat down at his drawing desk and started designing the toy that has now become Twickto. He officially recorded his designs with a civil-law notary and later applied for a patent. He put his ideas in a safe, where they remained for twenty years, but Gert-Jan never forgot about them. In 2015 the idea got a second life thanks to Gert-Jan’s son, Robin de Wilde. After visiting the Spielwarenmesse international toy fair in Germany a few times he kept coming to the same conclusion that there was nothing even remotely similar out there. That is when he decided to turn his father's idea into something big.
March 2018 - Twickto was the only toy brand ever to win an iF Design Gold Award, a prestigious international design award.

Twickto is a construction toy that allows children to build quickly and on a large scale. It consists of colourful building blocks and connectors. These bricks and twicks are connected to each other with a simple twist and click. There are no rules when building with Twickto, which stimulates creativity, spatial awareness and collaboration on fast and large constructions.
