ARK'S Krypto-Bite® Chewable Pencil Topper

€12.90

Does chewing on pen caps and pencil erasers sound familiar? Then you're in luck! Made in the USA, ARK's Krypto-Bite® Chewable Pencil Toppers are a safe solution for kids and adults who need to chew. Chewing can be a very effective way to help calm, self-regulate, and focus, so these chewy tools are a perfect pairing for homework, note-taking, and more. As an added bonus, they also add extra weight to the pencil for increased hand awareness and to help the pencil comfortably rest in the web space between the thumb and pointer finger. They're modeled after the same prism-shape as our Krypto-Bite Necklace, but with a hollow tube on one end to conveniently fit over standard #2 pencils.  Like all other Ark Chews, they come in 3 color-coded toughness levels:

  • Standard - This is the softest level, recommended for mild chewers (those who do not chew through anything).
  • Medium XT - This is the middle level, which we call XT ("Xtra Tough").  It's firmer, but still fairly chewy, recommended for moderate chewers.
  • Toughest XXT - This is the toughest level, which we call XXT ("Xtra Xtra Tough").  It still has some “chewability” to it, but it’s fairly rigid / pretty firm.  No chew tool is indestructible, but this is usually the longest lasting level for avid chewers.

Choose your option from the menu. Each topper is sold individually with it's own free eraser-less pencil.  Color hues may vary slightly. Please note: the bottom half of these toppers are hollow in order to fit over pencils, and as such they are not recommended for avid / aggressive chewers. Best practice is to use with eraser-less pencils (a free one is included with each topper).  Each topper measures approximately 2.75 inches in length and .5 inch in diameter.
