The Silhouette themed puzzle has 12 recognisable images that include a ball, house, car, pencil, boot, umbrella, tree and many more. Behind each lift-out piece is a silhouette image i.e. the outside puzzle piece of the Farmer will only be able to match the cut-out shape of the same Farmer on the wooden puzzle board. This encourages your child to compare the puzzle piece with the board and see that they match. With the cut out shape to guide them, your child will learn to match up the pieces to the correct space and learn to manipulate the piece until it fits. This encourages dexterity and spatial awareness along with hand-eye coordination development - important skills to learn when you are growing up.
